Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your preferred city or whether you are logged in — making your next visit easier and the site more useful.

PawHub also uses related technologies including local storage and session storage. We refer to all of these collectively as “cookies” in this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies — These are necessary for the Site to function. Without them, you cannot browse the Site or complete a checkout. They do not require your consent because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request. They expire at the end of your browser session or as stated in the table below.

Analytics cookies — These help us understand how visitors interact with the Site — for example, which care guides are most popular and where users exit. The data is aggregated and used only to improve the Site. These cookies require your consent.

Functional cookies — These remember your preferences (such as your city — Singapore — or your newsletter subscription status) to give you a more personalised experience. These cookies require your consent.

Third-party cookies — Set by external services we embed on the Site (e.g., YouTube). We do not control these cookies directly; see Section 4.

3. Cookies we set

4. Third-party cookies

When you interact with embedded third-party content on our Site, those services may set their own cookies on your device. We do not control these cookies and they are governed by the relevant third party’s own cookie and privacy policies.

YouTube (Google LLC): When you play an embedded video on our care guide or editorial pages, YouTube may set cookies to track playback, preferences and, if you are signed in to Google, to personalise your YouTube experience. This happens even in privacy-enhanced embed mode. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Stripe: When you visit the checkout, Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection and to associate your session with a payment intent. These are essential for payment processing. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

No ad-network cookies: PawHub does not use cookies from advertising networks (such as Google Ads remarketing, Meta Pixel or similar) to track you across the web for targeted advertising purposes.

5. How to manage your cookie preferences

You can manage your cookie preferences in two ways:

  • Our consent banner: When you first visit the Site, we show a cookie consent banner. You can accept all cookies, accept essential cookies only, or choose your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer.
  • Your browser settings: All major browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings — for example, to block third-party cookies, delete cookies on exit, or browse in “incognito” mode. Blocking essential cookies may impair your ability to use the checkout or log in to your account.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal to websites. At present, there is no industry-wide standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, and we do not currently alter our data practices based on DNT signals. We will update this policy if the position changes.

You can opt out of analytics tracking by using your browser settings or the consent banner, regardless of your DNT setting.

7. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, when we add new features or third-party integrations that require new cookies. The “last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the date of the most recent change.
