Auckland's annual community dog show, now in its eleventh year. Open to all dog lovers regardless of breed or background. Categories include Best Dressed, Dog & Owner Lookalike, Most Camp, Most Butch and Wee Woofers. Entry $5 per category; all proceeds support Auckland SPCA. Sponsored by Nutrience Dog Food and the Rule Foundation.

Greyhounds as Pets NZ (GAP)
Third Sunday of each month·Hobsonville Point, 1 Boundary Road (HLC Staff carpark), Hobsonville

Monthly social walk for greyhound owners, their dogs, and prospective adopters. Participants walk the Hobsonville Point coastal boardwalk; a small off-leash area is available (muzzles required). Prospective adopters are welcome for a relaxed meet-and-greet. Location rotates across Auckland suburbs — confirm each month on the GAP website.
